The G-SHOCK 40th Anniversary REMASTER BLACK series is a limited edition model of G-SHOCK, which has been pursuing toughness since its birth in 1983 and will celebrate its 40th anniversary in 2023. Inspired by milestones and stone monuments, the bands are engraved with the names of the models from the past 40 years and finished in all black. The bands of each model are hot stamped with the names of the models that have evolved in technology, structure, and materials, and the side buttons are engraved with a distinctive star mark, making this a special model commemorating the 40th anniversary. Biomass plastic is used for the bezels and bands of all models. The backlight and case back feature the 40th logo by Eric Haze, who also designed the logos for the G-SHOCK 25th, 30th, and 35th models, and the band ring is engraved with a star mark representing 40, making it a specification worthy of a limited edition model. In addition, a replacement bezel for the DW-5700 is included, allowing you to enjoy two different designs, the classic 5600 and 5700, in one model.
