Tamiya Racer Mini 4WD Series No.103 Cross Spear 01 VZ Chassis 18103 A plastic model assembly kit of a high-performance racer with a unique body and low center of gravity featuring shaft drive four-wheel drive.
The Cross Spear 01 was designed by Takayuki Yamazaki a hyper designer who is well known for the DCR (Decross) series and Dual Ridge Jr.
This machine which inherits the name of the Mini 4WD "Ray Spear" has a unique shape in which the left and right side panels of the body are separated from the center and supported by a truss structure and its sharp spear-like form is noteworthy.
The light gray body inspired by a stealth fighter jet is lightweight and low and the low center of gravity provides a stable ride.
Removable canopy is available as a separate clear part.
The chassis is the lightweight and compact VZ with the main body in German grey and A-parts such as the rollers and gear covers in white.
Fluorescent green spiral wheels are fitted with black super hard small diameter low profile tires.
The lightweight body and VZ chassis are a perfect match for practical use.
A car that is sure to be a hit in races
The VZ chassis is a more refined version of the popular VS chassis which is small lightweight and has a short wheelbase and is also used in races.
While retaining the excellent features of the VS chassis such as maneuverability and ease of maintenance the strength of the bumper rear stay base propeller shaft bearing etc.

The key point is the "moderate flexibility that absorbs shock."
