The mid-telephoto 85mm (35mm equivalent) focal length is ideal for portrait photography. Its natural perspective captures subjects in the details they appear to the naked eye. The lens construction employs 10 elements in 8 groups, including aspherical lenses. This effectively prevents spherical aberration, distortion, and chromatic aberration, resulting in three-dimensional, clear images without blurred subject edges. A minimum aperture of f/22 allows for narrower apertures, even in bright daylight, enabling a wide range of creative possibilities.
