This is a full metal chronograph from the analog "2100" series, developed based on the concept of the first G-SHOCK model, the DW-5000C.

While the case, bezel, and band are made of stainless steel, it inherits the octagonal bezel shape and dimple design of the band that were also used in the DW-5000C, which was released in 1983.

A fine resin cushioning material is placed between the bezel and the case, making the metal exterior shock-resistant.

The bezel is formed into a three-dimensional shape through a time-consuming process of forging, cutting, and polishing, and the top surface is finished with a circular hairline pattern and the slope is mirror polished for a beautiful finish.

The indexes and inner dial rings are intricately shaped using micro-machining technology, and are finished with a high-quality texture using deposition processing.

The screw-lock crown is designed in the same octagonal shape as the bezel.
