PIT ROAD 1/700 Maritime Self-Defense Force submarine SS-516 Raigei (2 ships included) . The first Taigei-class submarine was commissioned in March 2022 as the successor to the Soryu-class submarine. Although it looks similar to the Soryu type, it is equipped with a lithium storage battery that has a higher capacity and output, improving its diving ability. The fourth ship, Raigei, is scheduled to be launched in October 2023 and commissioned in March 2025.
