PLATZ 1/12 The Bonsai Plastic Model Kit. The third edition of the plastic model kit that reproduces ``Bonsai'', one of Japan's traditional culture, on 1/12 scale is now available. A completely new mold reproduces a tree shape that is different from the first and second editions! Not only are the trunks and branches different, but the pot is also modeled with a new mold to match the tree shape. It will be fun to compare the differences. The third edition reproduces the shape of the ``Kengai'' tree. (Those where the tip of the tree is below the edge of the pot are collectively called ``Kengai''.) Like the first edition, the leaves are pre-made and have needles that give a sense of scale. Even plastic model beginners can easily create miniature bonsai with just a little glue and paint. The completed kit can be pruned with scissors to create the bonsai of your choice.
