Along with McLaren Racing, which participates in the F1 race, we form the McLaren Group and are responsible for the development and sales of high-performance super sports cars. McLaren Automotive. The McLaren Senna is a super sports car that the company announced at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show. This machine, named after legendary F1 driver Ayrton Senna, was developed with the concept of ``a road car that delivers the best performance on the circuit.'' A 4-liter V8 twin-turbo engine that produces 800 horsepower is mounted mid-ship on a lightweight body that uses a lot of carbon fiber. The body thoroughly pursues cooling, aerodynamics, and downforce in each part. It is characterized by an aggressive form reminiscent of a racing car, which sets it apart from smoothness. Although it was a limited production car of 500 units, it attracted attention as it was already sold out at the time of its announcement. The complex body shape that pursues aerodynamics is reproduced as it is on the actual vehicle. Parts are separated for ease of painting, such as molding the window frame on the monocoque side and making the seat and pad separate parts. The brake caliper and disc are also separate parts, so the important thing is that the disc rotates. The V8 twin-turbo engine has a reduced number of parts and has a sufficient three-dimensional appearance. Not only the front radiator but also the rear side radiator are modeled. The spartan interior also has a realistic finish. The gas strut for opening and closing the door is a separate part. The instrument panel can be expanded or retracted. Selectable between full display mode and slim display mode. Metal inlet marks such as the McLaren logo are available. The tires are made of textured solid rubber. The front wheels can be steered. You can select and assemble the European specification, North American specification, or Japanese specification. The complex design, which thoroughly pursues aerodynamics, is reproduced exactly as it is on the actual vehicle. The midship-mounted V8 twin-turbo engine, as well as the subframe and suspension are all worth seeing. The transparent parts of the windows and roof can be assembled without using adhesives, and there is no need to paint them separately. The structure consists of fitting the transparent parts of the window and roof into the upper monocoque, and then assembling the outer pillars and body panels. The transparent panel built into the door can also be assembled by simply fitting it in without using adhesive. The brake disc and caliper are separate parts for ease of painting. The exhaust end and license plate at the rear of the vehicle are available in US specifications (left) and European specifications (right). The instrument panel is selectable between full display mode (expanded state: right) and slim display mode (stored state: left). The seat and pad are separate parts. Finishing with different colors is also easy. The aero blade installed inside the intake under the headlight is also reproduced. A large rear wing mounted with a swan-neck stay reminiscent of a GT machine. The base of the stay has a three-stage louver shape. The flat underside of the vehicle is covered with an under panel. The double structure rear diffuser is also impressive.
