Equipped with a 2000 horsepower class P&W R-2800 engine, an exhaust turbine supercharger, and heavy armament of eight 12.7mm machine guns, it is a member of the U.S. Army along with the P-51. The P-47 Thunderbolt was the main fighter of the Air Corps. Among its representative types, the D-type, the early production model, which had a narrow upper fuselage from the canopy to the tail, was called the Razorback. The P-47D Razorback made use of its superior high-altitude performance and high speed to provide long-distance escort for bombers headed for Germany. Furthermore, its ability to carry more than 1 ton of weapons made it a powerful weapon for ground attacks. This is a plastic model assembly kit of the U.S. Army Air Corps' masterpiece fighter bomber P-47D Thunderbolt. 1/48 scale, total length 230mm, total width 259mm. Modeling the early production type of P-47D called Razorback. The voluminous style has been faithfully reproduced, including the thick and sturdy fuselage and the cowling that wraps around the high-output engine. The main wing flap is a separate part and can be set up or down. Three types of propellers, shooting sights, and rearview mirrors are available. The engine cowl flap and intercooler shutter on the side of the fuselage can be opened or closed. A wide variety of weapon parts are also included, including two types of tank expansion tanks, a 500-pound bomb, and a rocket launcher. Includes 1 pilot figure and 2 types of decals.
