The dial features the number SINCE1983 to commemorate the 40th anniversary, while the case back features the 40th logo designed by Eric Haze, who also designed the logos for the G-SHOCK 25th, 30th, and 35th models. The keeper ring is engraved with a star mark representing 40 and the number SINCE1983, making this a fitting limited edition model.
