The E231 series suburban train currently in service on the Ueno-Tokyo Line and Shonan-Shinjuku Line is now available in 1/80 scale!
A basic set containing 6 cars (cars 1, 2, 3, 8, 9, and 10).
Licensed for commercialization by JR East. This product is a basic set of 6 cars (cars 1, 2, 3, 8, 9, and 10). A 10-car formation can be recreated by combining it with the separately sold [HO-9103] extension set. Furthermore, a full 15-car formation can be recreated by adding the separately sold [HO-9102] basic set B. This product (cars 1, 2, 9, and 10) are semi-cross seat cars, and (cars 3 and 8) are long seat cars. Kuha E231 and Kuha E230 and semi-cross seats are newly reproduced. Toilet tank and water tank are newly reproduced. Moha E231 and Moha E230 reproduce the underfloor after equipment renewal. Side indicator lights are installed. Some notations are printed. Semi-automatic buttons are reproduced by printing. Car numbers are selectable and a transfer sheet is included. Headlights are lit by white LEDs. Front display unit is lit by white LEDs. Head and tail lights and front display unit have ON-OFF switches. Can pass through a minimum radius of R490. *Railroad models are powered by the rails.
