This is a plastic model of the Hasegawa "1/72 German Junkers Ju88A-4".
The Junkers Ju88 was a bomber that combined the capabilities of horizontal bombing and dive bombing, and was used for various purposes due to its excellent maneuverability and maximum speed for a twin-engine bomber.
It was used from the beginning of the war until the end of the war, and the total number of aircraft produced reached about 15,000, second only to the Bf109 and Fw190. The Ju88A-4, which was deployed to units from around the summer of 1940, had a wingspan of 20.08m, up from 18.375m for the Ju88A-1, and its weight increased, but the maximum speed was faster than the A-1 due to the replacement of the engine with a high-power Jumo211F/J.
