Tobu Railway 8000 and 8500 early repaired cars are now available as part of the Railway Collection!
The Tobu Railway 8000 and 8500 series are commuter trains with the largest number of cars of the same model manufactured by private railways, with a total of 712 cars manufactured since 1963.Of these, the 8000 series is a fixed formation of 4 or more cars, and the 8500 series is a fixed formation of 2 cars.
The cars repaired in 1986 maintained their original front shape and stood out among the repaired cars.
In addition, while other formations were being repaired, they attracted attention as cars that maintained their original front.
The 2-car 8509 formation is modeled in its post-repair form.
The end face has a stripe, and the train radio antenna can be selected from a rod-shaped or L-shaped.
By using a separately sold power unit and N-gauge running parts, it can be run as an N-gauge model train.
We recommend the TM-25 (20m class D2) power unit, TT-04R running parts set, and PT4811N [0258] pantograph.
