This full metal model features the dial color of the first G-SHOCK model, the DW-5000C, which was released in 1983.

The watch is decorated with red, which is the G-SHOCK brand color and represents the passion to continue challenging, blue, which represents high water resistance, and yellow, which represents shock resistance.

The stainless steel bezel is formed into a three-Dimensional shape through a time-consuming process of forging, cutting, and polishing, and the top surface is beautifully finished with a hairline finish and the slope is mirror polished.

The stainless steel case is the same as the original model, and has a highly airtight screw-back case.

To achieve a full metal shock-resistant structure, a fine resin cushioning material is installed between the bezel and the case.

In addition, the band connection has a three-legged structure to disperse the impact on the connecting pipe.

The metal band pieces have been given a dimpled finish, inheriting the resin band design of the original model.

The watches are also manufactured at Yamagata Casio, the mother factory that produced the original G-SHOCK.
