This is a reissue model of the popular heritage design that was equipped with a bi-rotating bezel in the late 1960s and became synonymous with Seiko's tool watches, laying the foundation for the development of the later 5 Sports and SKX series.

The bezel structure has been redesigned to reproduce the original design with modern specifications, while adopting a box-shaped dual-curve Hardlex glass and being water resistant to 10 atmospheres.

The dial features a reissued emblem logo of the "Seiko 5", following the original design as much as possible.
It also uses a five-row solid SS bracelet with a good texture that gives it the feel of the time.
It reproduces the inverted combination calendar display with white date (day of the week) and black day (date),
which was used in the 1960s.

It comes with a special limited edition box that follows the original coloring of the 1960s.
Limited quantity 9,999 units worldwide (1,000 units in Japan).
The back cover is laser-marked with Limited Edition and a limited serial number (0001/9999-9999/9999).
