This is a crawler robot building set equipped with the educational microcomputer board "BBC microbit", ultrasonic sensor, and drive circuit.
When the ultrasonic sensor detects an obstacle, the BBC microbit receives the information and controls the two motors based on the installed driving program, allowing the robot to avoid the obstacle and drive automatically.
When it detects a loud noise, it stops on the spot and reacts with sound and movement.
Furthermore, by combining other parts, it is possible to wirelessly control forward/backward movement and left/right turning.
Of course, you can also program the BBC Microbit yourself using your own computer to freely control its movements.
The robot comes with a pre-installed program that uses ultrasonic sensors to avoid obstacles, so you can play with it right after assembling it.
Programming software (Japanese version) that can be used in a web browser is provided free of charge
Visual programming is possible by arranging blocks with actions written on the screen
