- Miki Yuuseki - Born in Kokura, Kitakyushu, in 1966.He began oil painting in junior high school.
After entering high school, he studied under Yamaguchi Kagyu and switched to calligraphy.
After graduating from university, he expanded his activities into the design field, writing calligraphy for packaging, CD jackets, sake labels, posters, etc.
He is currently exploring the role of calligraphy not only in Japanese spaces, but also in everyday Western spaces.
He is working on the theme of easy-to-understand modern calligraphy with a free-thinking approach, unconstrained by established calligraphy.
