The legendary Arcee (prototype) appears in the "Missing Link" series, a virtual reprint of what may have existed in that era.
What if the unreleased Arcee had been commercialized in a fully posable version? This is a completely new design that preserves the original size, texture, and nostalgia of the time!
In 1986, product development had progressed to the point of a non-transforming styrofoam prototype, but the legendary Arcee was never released.
Based on this hypothetical scenario, what if development had continued as planned? The basic structure, which uses die-cast alloys and a size similar to the 1986 toy, has been newly implemented with a transformation mechanism, and the ideal Arcee toy has finally been released, incorporating movable joints for posing and gimmicks from the anime.
The missing piece that Transformers fans around the world have been waiting for is finally being filled in.
This product reproduces the original color scheme of the original styrofoam prototype, with a pink/orange base.
The head design is also based on the initial settings.
While thoroughly pursuing the style of the time as read from existing materials, each joint is constructed in a modern style.
You can freely pose it.
The miniature laser gun used in "The Movie" is included to recreate the scene from the anime, and can be attached to the bottom or rear of the vehicle in vehicle mode.
The robot itself also comes with the familiar "secret emblem," which appears when you warm it with your finger.
Foil stickers with a period-inspired design are also included, so you can stick them on as you like.
The back is equipped with a joint hole for a stand (sold separately),
allowing you to display it in action poses.
The package illustration is a new design inspired by the style of the time, and a collection card featuring the same illustration is also included.
The packaging and styrofoam trays are all carefully crafted to pay homage to the original, bringing back the excitement of opening a Transformers product in the 1980s.
