This model recreates Akagi in its triple-deck form before the extensive modernization.
Choose between the early version (not including the pre-20cm twin turret configuration seen immediately after completion) and the mid-model (1934-35) with a small temporary bridge on the starboard side of the top deck.
Aircraft parts include 15 Type 90 fighters and 15 Type 13 No. 2 carrier-based attack aircraft.
Decals for 12 Type 90 fighters and 15 Type 13 No. 2 carrier-based attack aircraft are included.
