"Sora" was written as a required song for the junior high school division of the 92nd NHK National School Music Competition.
SKY-HI, who was asked to write the lyrics and compose the music, expressed his desire to "tell the emotional turmoil of young people at a sensitive age that it's okay," making this a song that is sure to move listeners as it touches their hearts and sympathizes with their anxieties.
The lyrics, which depict the subtleties of life and are based on the ever-changing and capricious weather, are expressed through a grand gospel-based song, choral work by one of Japan's leading choruses, and songs that showcase the charm and skills of each member.
