The newly developed Dual I.S.2 image stabilization system offers improved image stabilization with 5-axis body (B.I.S.) and 2-axis lens (O.I.S.), allowing for real-time coordination between the camera's in-body image stabilization (B.I.S.) and in-lens image stabilization (O.I.S.). The camera's 5-axis in-body image stabilization (B.I.S.) compensates for vertical/horizontal angular shake (Pitch/Yaw), rotational shake (Roll), and vertical/horizontal translational shake (X/Yaw) in conjunction with 2-axis in-lens image stabilization (O.I.S.) compensates for vertical/horizontal angular shake (Pitch/Yaw) to powerfully correct and eliminate camera shake that occurs in any shooting scene. The newly developed "Dual I.S.2" image stabilization system, which combines 5-axis body (B.I.S.) and 2-axis lens (O.I.S.) image stabilization, enables real-time coordination between the camera's in-body image stabilization (B.I.S.) and in-lens image stabilization (O.I.S.), allowing for image stabilization control. Equipped with "POWER O.I.S." optical image stabilization. A gyro sensor built into the lens housing detects and corrects camera shake. By detecting shake 4,000 times per second, it detects and corrects not only high-frequency (fast, small, rapid camera shake) but also low-frequency (large, slow, slow camera shake). This allows you to capture beautiful, clear images with minimal camera shake, even when using cameras without Dual I.S. or other manufacturers' cameras, even in situations prone to camera shake, such as zooming or handheld night shots.

A minimum focusing distance of 30cm and a maximum magnification of 0.25x support close-up shooting at the wide-angle end (30cm) and macro shooting at the telephoto end (maximum magnification of 0.25x).
A newly developed high-speed stepping motor supports 240fps AF. This product's drive system uses a screw-integrated stepping motor. Equipped with a newly developed encoder, real-time feedback control of the motor's rotation angle achieves motor speeds approximately twice as fast as previous models. The lead screw, integrated with the motor shaft, directly moves the focus lens without the use of intermediate gears or cams, achieving high focusing precision and supporting high-speed AF at 240 fps. The lens construction of 14 elements in 12 groups (3 aspherical lenses and 2 ED lenses) achieves high-contrast images all the way to the edges of the image. The three aspherical lenses are optimally positioned to improve peripheral resolution, ensuring high-contrast images all the way to the edges of the image. Furthermore, the ED (extra-low dispersion) lens thoroughly suppresses chromatic aberrations, which can cause color bleeding and reduced contrast.
