I would agree with another review that these figures seem to dwarf other Tamiya figures, enough to be noticed in a diorama.

Tamiya has done it again with their great models! I am overall happy with this purchase and I will be buying more tamiya models in the future. I do want to clarify two things with this product, because it has a few too many one stars for a great product. First off this is a MODEL! This is not a young boys army figures to play with, sadly that's what a lot of one star reviewers bought this for. Second, yes the picture can be misleading as that is not what you get right out of the box. This is a model that requires you to assemble the figures with cement and you must paint them yourself. Sadly a couple people that have bought this didn't realize that.Overall I'm very happy with this purchase, it was cheap and I got fast shipping! Good job

These figures are pretty good. I painted and assembled all of them, and they really do look nice, but not quite as nice as some of the other kits I've worked on. If you are wanting to build a fairly easy, cool model kit, then this is the one for you!

We ordered this for our 12 yr. old son. It is NOT a toy, you will not recieve army men put together like in the picture. You will recieve a kit with army men parts that you need to put together yourself with model cement glue and then paint yourself. He LOVED this kit. It was simple enough for him to do by himself, yet detailed enough to keep his attention and make it a good project for him to work on. He loved painting them as well. It only comes with the parts. You will need to purchase your model cement and paint seperately as well as a pair of tweezers for the smaller parts. I HIGHLY recommend this kit, it was awesome and I cant wait to get him more.

TAMIYA 1/35 Military Miniature Series American Infantry GI Set. This is a plastic model assembly kit that reproduces the American infantry from the Normandy landings in the latter half of World War II. Modeled in 1941 and 1943 combat uniforms. A total of 8 figures are included, including the commander holding a Thompson submachine gun, 3 figures in marching poses, and 5 figures in shooting or charging poses. Small firearms such as the Browning M1918A2 automatic rifle, Thompson submachine gun, M1 Garand rifle and M1 carbine, and equipment such as holsters and backpacks are also sharply finished. It would be interesting to compare the models with the differences in military equipment with German soldiers.
