TAMIYA 1/72 Warbird Collection Douglas F4D-1 Skyray.
[Deformed delta wing aircraft pursuing high speed]
Assembling a plastic model of the Skyray, a U.S. Navy carrier jet fighter that first flew in 1951 and is known for its distinctive style, speed, and setting world records for climb time. It's a kit. Modeling the mass-produced F4D-1, of which 419 Skyrays were produced. The unique style with a modified delta wing with a sweepback angle of 50 degrees has been faithfully recreated. The leg storage and cockpit interior also have a rich three-dimensional finish. Sharp armament parts such as rocket pods and sidewinders add strength to the curved aircraft. There are three types of markings: those belonging to the US Navy and Marine Corps.
