JR Kyushu's tourist train, Yufuin no Mori, gets a makeover.
It recreates the appearance after it was updated in 2003.
Approved by JR Kyushu, this High Grade (HG) model recreates the train's appearance after the 2003 update.
The metallic green body features a gold stripe.
The seats are rendered in green.
The windows in the lounge area of car 3 are rendered in a deep smoke finish.
Shoe lining and door rails are printed.
The logo is printed.
The car number is printed.
Equipped with a circuit board for constantly lighting the head and tail lights.
The headlights are illuminated by warm white LEDs, and the taillights are illuminated by red LEDs.
Body-mounted TN couplers (SP) are standard on each coupling side.
A dummy coupler is equipped on the driver's side of the lead car.
Features a flywheel-equipped motor, a new current collection system, and silver wheels.
Uses an M-13 motor.
