The 100 and 150 models each feature a distinct brake concept. The 100 employs the SV concept, while the 150 employs the LC concept. Both models also feature the "BOOST SYSTEM." The 100 (with SV BOOST) suppresses line float and achieves a stable trajectory, even with lures that have high air resistance. This allows for smooth, effortless line extension in the latter half of the cast. The 150 (with MAG-Z BOOST) precisely suppresses excessive spool rotation in the first half of the cast, which can easily occur with medium- to heavy-weight lures. This stabilizes the lure's position and allows for long-distance casting that cuts through the wind.
