The N700S is a new type of train for the Tokaido-Sanyo Shinkansen line that began operation in 2020 and was developed based on the conventional N700 series.

This four-car basic set is currently undergoing approval by JR Central.
The antenna on the lead car, which was replaced by a new one from the test car, is newly manufactured.
The undercarriage of the lead car, including the new bogie cover, is newly manufactured.
The car number and warning signs on the roof are pre-printed.
The test car debuted in March 2018 and underwent various tests.
A mass-produced version of this series was manufactured based on the test car and began operation primarily on the Nozomi service in July 2020.The bogie cover and antenna shape of the lead car have been modified.
The "N700 Supreme" logo is printed.
The JR mark, Green Car mark, car number (body),
and no-smoking sign are pre-printed.
The basic set comes with a pre-printed car number (J1 formation).
Add-on sets A and B include car number and upgrade transfer sheets.
Car numbers are included, including those for modifying the basic set.
The lead car is equipped with a circuit board for constantly lighting the head and tail lights.
The headlights of the lead car are illuminated by white LEDs.
Color seats are used.
The top canopy is movable.
Uses a hook and U-shaped current coupler.
New current collection system and silver wheels.
Uses a flywheel-equipped power source and M-13 motor.
