This replica of the ED79 Series 50, which was approved by JR Freight and used to pull freight trains through the Seikan Tunnel, recreates its appearance in later years when the side inspection covers were filled in.
The license plate width has been reduced, and the exterior has been revised.
Includes dummy couplers and a self-coupling TN coupler.
The headlights are equipped with a constant-on board and an ON/OFF switch.
The headlights are illuminated by warm white LEDs.
The JR Freight logo is printed on the model.
