The S15, the seventh generation Silvia with full VERTEX RIDGE aerodynamics, was released in January 1999 as a full model change from the previous S14 model.
With the slogan "SPORTS!
SILVIA," the car strengthened its character as a sports model and was designed with a more hardcore driving feel in mind.
As a result, the downsized body was once again 5-number size, and the fresh driving performance of the SR20DET, with its output increased to 250 PS and new 6MT, continues to attract fans to this day.
