[Product introduction]
The third generation Skyline, commonly known as "Hakosuka", was born in 1968, and the two-door hardtop was born in the fall of 1970.

The wheelbase was shortened by 70 mm compared to the previous four-door sedan, which is said to have been for the purpose of improving cornering performance when racing, but it also contributed greatly to the styling.

In particular, the long-nose 2000GT series helped improve the image of the Skyline as a whole, further increasing sales, which had already been on the rise thanks to the "Love Skyline" advertising campaign.

TLV has produced the Hakosuka 4-cylinder sedan, light van, 2000GT sedan, and 2000GT-R sedan, and now finally the 2-door hardtop.
