The EF81 with a canopy and a double-headed coupler is reproduced as a prestige model with handrails, signal flares, etc.
A new skirt with a re-centering device was manufactured in conjunction with the installation of a double-headed coupler.
Equipped with a double-headed coupler for self-coupling and close-coupling.
Licensed for commercialization by JR Hokkaido.
Licensed for commercialization by JR East.

A new skirt with a re-centering device was manufactured in conjunction with the installation of a double-headed coupler.
