This is a renewed version of the 287 Series "Kuroshio." It features a new current collection system and silver wheels. The TN coupler (SP) on the driver's cab side of the leading car is newly manufactured. The head and tail lights are equipped with a constant-on board and an ON/OFF switch. The JR mark and Green Car mark are printed on the door step. The car number is selectable and a transfer sheet is included. The headlights use white LED boards, and the taillights use red LED boards. The headlights under the driver's cab use color prisms to reproduce yellow and white lighting. Flywheel Features a motor with a spring, a new current collection system, silver wheels, and an M-13 motor.
