The Power Drive Engine, comprised of two technologies—a large-diameter oversized Power Digigear and roller power oscillation using a ball bearing system—is housed in a larger, more powerful "Full Metal (AL) Monocoque Body," resulting in a lighter initial response and more efficient, powerful reeling power.
The Power Drive Rotor, made of metal (AL), features a streamlined spherical shape that maintains low inertia while achieving increased rigidity. The drag mechanism has also been completely redesigned. Up to the 14,000 size, the ATD Tough system is comprised of a total of 14 carbon and metal washers.
