It uses alloy in various areas, and the camouflage pattern is recreated with paint. This definitive Metal Gear REX also features a light-up mechanism. Metal Gear REX, which appeared in METAL GEAR SOLID, part of the Metal Gear series, is now available as a Chogokin product! The REX, a nuclear-armed bipedal tank developed in secret by DARPA and Arms Tech at a nuclear weapons disposal site on Shadow Moses Island, is recreated in a cutting-edge three-dimensional model. The use of die-cast alloy in each section gives it the texture and solid feel of a weapon. The Chogokin original armor deployment gimmick exposes the internal frame and die-cast parts. The distinctive camouflage pattern is reproduced with paint. The railgun for launching nuclear warheads is recreated in a large size of approximately 260mm. With the legs extended, the maximum height is approximately 180mm. The camouflage pattern paint and the details of the main body create an overwhelming volume in three dimensions. The die-cast spikes can move independently, achieving both sculpting and mobility. The head lights up with an LED gimmick. Numerous joints in the legs ensure a wide range of motion. Combined with the original armor deployment gimmick, it allows for an impressive display. A dedicated pedestal allows for stable display of each form. Two types of support joints allow for forward-leaning poses.
