Label: Blu-spec CD2 "The Dawn of Japanese Synthesizer Music" is a series of reissues of rare albums from the 1970s that document the trial and error of the early days of synthesizer music in Japan, focusing on rare works that have never been released on CD and are now difficult to obtain. Overall supervision is provided by Matsutake Hideki, a pioneering Japanese synthesizer programmer and current honorary member of the Japan Synthesizer Professional Arts Association. "INJECTION" is an album released in 1979 by the project of leading Japanese arranger/keyboardist Makoto Yano. Recorded in New York and Tokyo, it features a Giorgio Moroder-style techno-disco sound that unfolds almost nonstop throughout.
