This product is based on the ship's appearance at the start of the war, before it was converted into an aircraft carrier.
The hull is divided into left and right sections, and the model is based on the waterline.
The "main gun canopy," "upper bridge," and "cross tree of the aft mast" sections, which are different from those on the Ise, are included with dedicated parts.
The secondary gun command post's shape and the size of the bridge eaves are also different from those on the Ise.
Using a slide mold, the structure below the bridge and the open muzzles of the 36cm main guns are recreated.
Three Type 95 reconnaissance seaplanes are included.
