Tomix's Tsugaru Kaikyo Line series, featuring JR's last regular express train, Hamanasu, on the eve of the Shinkansen's opening.
A set of 7 cars, the basic version of the express "Hamanasu".
Licensed for commercialization by JR Hokkaido.
Reproduces the express train "Hamanasu" that connected Aomori and Sapporo.

The Suhanefu 14-550, Suhafu 14-500 and 550 models are reproduced with vertical gutters modified to be externally mounted.
The Suhanefu 14-550 and Suhafu 14-500/550 types are newly produced to reproduce the modified shape around the engine.
Newly produced underfloor equipment parts for the end of the car compatible with the TR217 (cylinder-equipped) bogie for the Suhanefu 14-550, Suhafu 14-500 and 550 types, reproducing a different shape from the Suhanefu 14-0 and Suhafu 14-0 types.
The Oha 14-500 series (carpet car) features a newly-made air conditioner, and is color-coded in light gray and silver using a two-part configuration.
Scheduled to be released as a separate part [PC6066]
The AU76 and 77 type coolers have two fans to recreate the new model.
Tail lights and train marks are equipped with a constant lighting board and an ON-OFF switch.
Taillights and train marks are illuminated by white LEDs.
The train mark is printed with "Hamanasu".
Suhafu 14-550 type has no light board or train mark printed on it.
The Suhanefu 14-550 type comes with a TN coupler already installed, the Suhafu 14-500 type comes with a replacement TN coupler and coupler parts, and the Suhafu 14-550 type comes with coupler parts.
Includes head mark "Hamanasu/Hamanasu (white)" for ED79 type.
Car number is selectable and a transfer sheet is included.
New current collection system and black wheels.
