The Meitetsu 1700 series in its old livery is now available as a model with illuminated front destination display and selectable car numbers. It comes with newly produced stickers for train type/destination display, priority seating display, wheelchair/stroller display, weak air conditioning car, and door stickers (monkey/dolphin). The corporate mark, "Series 1700" logo, car number display, special car display, and general car display are pre-printed. The vehicle number and anti-aircraft display are selectable from the included vehicle marks. Ventilators, lightning arresters, and external speakers are pre-installed. Train radio antenna, fuse box, and signal flare (1700) are also included. The underfloor equipment (car 1700 and VVVF control device only) is user-installed. The signal flares (car 2330), running boards, odor vents, and lightning arresters (car 1700) are integrally molded. Following a review of the limited express train system in 2008, two of the three cars, the Mo 1700 and Sa 1650, were utilized, and four newly built 2300 series general-purpose cars were created by combining them, with some equipment from the scrapped Ku 1600 series being reused.
