Was looking for a durable daily watch that didn't have any useless features. I was looking for blacked-out, but wanted to easily see the time. I didn't want the typical oversized colorful G-Shocks, but I didn't want a plain Jane either. I also wanted a cool feature or two, for the price point that I was willing to pay. This watch hit everything on my checklist. Everything.It isn't a small watch, but it isn't humongous either. The seller (Premium Japan) got this watch to me in about 5 days from another country. Ordered it on Wednesday, got it on Monday. G Shocks have a sterling reputation for durability in my former profession, soldier, so I'm fairly confident it will hold up well. My only regret is that I didn't seriously look at G Shock watches until now, as I was only used to seeing the gaudy or simple ones.

Considering that this watch has all the features of some of Casio's higher end offerings with a resin band, I think this is a great buy. The Tough Solar moniker is found on these and the atomic time function is the feature that I looked for and found in this watch. Although I needed to get the Japenese import to get these features in this look, you can get the same watch with the same features but a blue bezel in a American release version, but if you like the black out look, you need to go with the import.

Shipped from Japan. I paid extra for faster delivery and could see its movement. It was in the US in a couple days, two days in customs then to me. Very good service. The watch is large, but very light weight. After a YouTube video you will know how to use it. The hands illuminate well, but only for a short time after being exposed to light. There are hundreds of G watch to select from. Figure out what features and size you want and keep searching. I wanted illuminated hands and a good dial light option, solar and automatic time syncing, but not the bulk and weight of the multiple sensors.
