TAMIYA 1/12 Kawasaki Ninja H2 CARBON.
[Kawasaki's unique supercharged bike that continues to evolve]
The Kawasaki Ninja H2 was announced at the 2014 Milan show and dominated the conversation at the venue. Its name comes from the 1971 2-stroke, 3-cylinder Nanahan 750-SS/MACH (H2), which caused a sensation around the world with its overwhelming acceleration performance. The new generation H2 has a specially developed 998cc liquid-cooled parallel 4-cylinder engine equipped with a centrifugal supercharger in order to provide acceleration power that no one has ever experienced. This engine, which produces a maximum output of 200 horsepower, is mounted on a steel pipe trellis frame. The cowl is shaped in pursuit of aerodynamics, and the upper cowl with the ram air intake open has a chin spoiler shape at the bottom, and a single headlight is placed in the center. The rearview mirror stay has a wing cross-sectional shape that creates downforce. Furthermore, the vehicle body is equipped with various electronic control devices. Ninja H2 CARBON is a special grade added in 2017. As the name suggests, improvements have been made to various parts such as the upper cowl being made of carbon fiber and the engine being powered up to 205 horsepower. This is a 1/12 scale plastic model assembly kit that reproduces the 2018 model of the Ninja H2 CARBON, a superbike developed by combining the technologies of Kawasaki Heavy Industries. Precise reproduction of a water-cooled parallel 4-cylinder engine equipped with a supercharger. A three-dimensional upper cowl with headlights and rearview mirrors, side cowls, rear cowl, and other aerodynamic road-spec cowls are modeled as they are on the actual vehicle. The muffler and light case are plated parts. The tires are made of synthetic rubber with realistically engraved tread patterns. The engine, swing arm, and cowling are fixed to the frame with screws. The car name logo and the characteristic "river mark" are metal inlet marks. The headlights and taillights are transparent parts. Comes with masking line stickers for painting the fuel tank. The unique and powerful form is reproduced as it is on the actual vehicle. The upper cowl and side cowl are fixed to the frame with screws. Even after completion, it can be removed to show the mechanism. *The photo shows the state before the fuel tank and seat frame are glued. Slide marks are used to represent the carbon material of the upper cowl. The tail lamp consists of a plated light case and clear parts. The muffler and exhaust pipe are plated parts. The duct on the left side of the car body that guides air from the air intake in front of the front cowl to the supercharger is also made into a part. The complex-shaped trellis frame and air box above the engine are also reproduced. The meter uses a slide mark, and the mirror surface of the rearview mirror uses a metal inlet mark. The tires are made of synthetic rubber with a realistic tread pattern. A maintenance stand is also included. The green line on the fuel tank is a slide mark, and the Kawasaki logo is a metal inlet mark. It can also be displayed on the side stand. Comes with a slide mark for marking, a metal inlet mark, and a masking line sticker that is convenient for coloring.
