This model was designed by the popular graphic artist Yoshirotten. The theme is MUSIC NIGHT TOKYO, designed to evoke the nighttime music scene in Tokyo, where orange and green lasers fly around as you enter a dimly lit club. The base model is the DW-5600, the original square model, and the AW-500, G-Shock's first combination analog and digital model. The DW-5600MNT has a dark gray face with green lettering and an orange laser on the LCD, while the light gray face has orange lettering and a green laser on the LCD. This is a rare design where the laser pattern always appears even when the light is not turned on. This is a G-SHOCK with various gimmicks to bring the design image of "MUSIC", "NIGHT", and "TOKYO" to the fore.
