Easy to set with smartphone, the toughest watch in the world, yet understated enough for dress wear. I’ve owned 23 G-Shocks in my life, starting with the original 5600 in 1983. Would recommend this model to anyone willing to part with the $800 price.

I received this G-Shock a few days ago and was pleasantly surprised by the size and weight of it, and by that I mean, that the watch was not huge nor heavy. I am used to wearing larger watches but some of them just do not fit under a dress shirt. I have an 8" wrist so I'm not dainty nor aspire to wear any watches under a 42mm. This one was shallower than some of my other G-Shocks and has the right number of features.It came as described in the original box and was nicely packaged since this is a little more upscale G-Shock, although I am sure it can take much abuse. I chose the silver over the black since I have multiple watches with black cases and I must say that this one is a looker. Have received several compliments on it.I had no problems pairing it with the G-Shock connected app for Android or iOS. As soon as it paired it set the watch and I was up and running in about 10 seconds. It also tried to hit the atomic clock signal also if in an area where it receives it, so I have no worries that this watch is spot on and leaving it in good light for a couple hours charged up the batteries to full.Wears really well and doesn't feel over-balanced on the wrist. Very comfortable!!
