TAMIYA 1/700 Waterline Series (1/700 Japanese Destroyer Harusame). TWL403 Harusame
[Product Details]
TAMIYA 1/700 Waterline Series "1/700 Japanese Destroyer Harusame". Special-class and Uiharu-class destroyers that surprised navies around the world with their high performance and heavy armament. However, these also had problems such as being too heavily armed and lacking in resilience. Therefore, the design was revised and a new Shiratsuyu type was built. This is a plastic model assembly kit of Harusame, which was completed in 1939 as the fifth ship. The model has been accurately reproduced with enhanced anti-aircraft armament after the outbreak of the Pacific War, including replacing the second rear turret with a 25mm triple anti-aircraft machine gun and adding a 5mm triple anti-aircraft machine gun to the front of the bridge. Of course, the main gun's 12.7cm gun and torpedo tube are also sharply finished.
