I thought that this reel would be somewhat larger since it is recommended for 14 lb. test line. Seems to be a quality reel. I however would recommend it for 8 lb. line.

★★★★☆ A Pricey Version of the Daiwa Underspin-XD Series

I was under the impression the this reel had an oscillating spool when I purchased it. It does not. Other than cosmetics there is no difference between it and the Daiwa Underspin-XD Series which I also own and which is readily available in the US for a third the price. The reel does appear to be well made and operates smoothly but it's very hard to justify the price unless you just have to have a red reel.

Smooth action and pretty reliable. This one was definitely worth the wait. It beats the same models in gold, oddly enough, considering they are supposed to be alike except for the color.
