[About Peugeot 206 WRC]
The 206 WRC is a Peugeot Works machine developed with the aim of winning the World Rally Championship (WRC). It has a compact body with a total length of approximately 4m, and combined with the short wheelbase, it exhibits sharp maneuverability. It also features a horizontally mounted 2.0 liter 4-cylinder turbo engine combined with a vertically mounted gearbox. Debuted at the 1999 WRC round 6 Tour de Corse. At one point, it ran comfortably at the top, demonstrating its high performance, and expectations were high for its performance the following year. This is a 1/24 assembly kit of the Peugeot 206 WRC that was active in the 1999 World Rally Championship. Modeled after the 1999 Tour de Corse specifications. Total length 168mm, total width 75.4mm. A compact body equipped with a three-dimensional curved two-stage rear wing is realistically modeled. The interior, complete with a roll cage, is a reproduction of rally equipment. A spare tire is also installed in the rear space. The underside of the chassis also has a three-dimensional finish. You can also take a close look at the layout of the horizontal engine and vertical gearbox, as well as the suspension. Set of slide marks for cars 14 and 15. The compact body and large protruding front and rear fenders are faithfully modeled to reflect the style of the actual vehicle. The two-stage type wing composed of three-dimensional curved surfaces is also realistically reproduced. Decals are available for markings and sponsor marks. The large brake disc peeking out from the 5-spoke wheels is impressive. The indoor rally equipment, such as the stretched roll cage and spare tire, has also been faithfully recreated. The underside of the chassis also has a three-dimensional finish. Clear parts are available for the under guard, allowing you to see the engine and gearbox with their distinctive layouts even after completion.
