The screw back case, bezel, and band are made of stainless steel, and while the module has a shock-resistant structure that protects the module from impact when dropped, we aimed for a simple design that eliminates waste.
It also inherits the octagonal bezel shape and dimple design of the band that were also adopted for the DW-5000C born in 1983.
This model has a yellow gold color IP coating on the bezel and band.
A slim and highly functional module is installed using high-density mounting technology to achieve a slim design.

The stainless steel bezel is three-dimensionally shaped through time-consuming forging, cutting, and polishing processes, and the top surface is beautifully finished with a circular hairline and mirror-polished slopes.
By implementing a fine resin cushioning material between the bezel and the case, a shock-resistant structure with a metal exterior is made possible.
The dial is finished with a high quality finish by applying delicate modeling using the fine processing technology of the Casio Yamagata factory and vapor deposition processing.
The thin, high-performance digital/analog combination module connects to a dedicated app via Bluetooth® communication function, acquires time information, and keeps accurate time.
It also has practical functions such as tough solar and high-brightness double LED lights.
