FUJIMI 1/350 Ship Model Series No.7 EX-1 Former Japanese Navy Battleship Yamashiro Special Edition (Bridge). The bridge of the battleship Yamashiro, the tallest Japanese battleship, is reproduced on a 1/350 scale! The battleship Yamashiro was built as the second ship of Japan's first dreadnought battleship Fuso, and after undergoing several performance improvements and renovations, entered the Pacific War period, 1945. He sortied to counter the US military's invasion of the Philippines in October 2015, and died in the battle. Yamashiro's bridge had features such as a round conning tower and struts with more open legs compared to Fuso's, and it had a distinctive shape with a rangefinder support structure similar to the battleship Haruna's. The product is an unpainted kit that requires adhesive assembly and painting. This product uses the existing product 1/350 scale battleship Yamashiro mold. The product is modeled after the No. 21 electric probe around the first half of 1945. The main parts of the bridge are molded in gray, imitating the color of the Yokosuka Naval Arsenal. Clear molded parts are available for the bridge window and searchlight. A pedestal for display and a sticker displaying the ship's name are included. The range is reproduced from the top deck to the top rangefinder, and in the front to the second turret connected to the shelter deck. A style in which the truss/tripod structure and each deck are stacked and assembled in the same way as the actual structure. The wooden deck is expressed with delicate carvings on the shelter deck. The Type 89 12.7cm twin high-angle gun on the shelter deck is made up of 6 parts and is unique to 1/350. The 25mm twin machine guns placed on the front and rear of the bridge are made up of 3 parts unique to 1/350, and the elevation angle can be adjusted. The compass bridge, lower lookout post, battle bridge, observation post, main gun command post, and 5 windows are reproduced with clear parts. The compass bridge and other floors are carved with strip patterns. Multiple rattals are prepared to connect each layer, and all are made into separate parts. The 4.5 meter rangefinder can be fixed at any angle. The wing part of the battleship bridge has a light hole structure reproduced by sculpture. Binocular telescope parts are included to increase the sense of detail, such as the surveying station and battle bridge. The rangefinder indicator structure truss on the back of the bridge has a sense of detail, with the light holes carved into it. The molded parts come in three colors: gray (Yokosuka Naval Arsenal color), transparent color, and black base parts.
