TAMIYA 1/48 Masterpiece Series North American P-51B Mustang. The P-51D Mustang is the U.S. Army's main fighter, said to be the best fighter of World War II. This is a plastic model assembly kit of its predecessor, the P-51B Mustang. Not only does it have a beautiful Mustang-specific style, such as the tight nose that envelops the Packard V-1650 engine and the protruding lower fuselage to accommodate the radiator, but it also features a line that connects the canopy to the rear of the fuselage, and a wing shape that is slightly different from the P-51D. The unique style of P-51B is also faithfully reproduced. The set includes two 500-pound bombs, two expansion tanks, one pilot figure, and three types of slide marks. I'm looking forward to comparing it with the P-51D and collecting it side by side.
