This prime lens meets Leica's strict optical standards, achieving the brightness of the F1.7 SUMMILUX, delivering high image quality and soft bokeh. It's a versatile lens for a variety of photography scenarios, from everyday landscapes, dimly lit indoor scenes, and twilight scenes to snapshots and bokeh-inducing shots.

The lens's 7-group, 9-element design, with three aspherical lenses strategically positioned, combines high performance with a compact design. Aperture ring/AF/MF selector switch for intuitive and comfortable operation. The lens barrel is equipped with an aperture ring.
