This is a product of the "Super Yakumo" which was seen from 1995 until the train name was unified to "Yakumo" in 2006.
The purple-based body color accurately reproduces the inscriptions "SUPER YAKUMO 381" and "WEST JAPAN RAILWAY COMPANY SUPER YAKUMO."
In addition to the purple-coloured formation, you can also enjoy mixed operation and passing by the green-striped 381 series "Yakumo" (renewed formation) that was in operation at the same time.
This is a product of the "Super Yakumo" which was seen from 1995 until the train name was unified to "Yakumo" in 2006.
The purple-based body color accurately reproduces the inscriptions "SUPER YAKUMO 381" and "WEST JAPAN RAILWAY COMPANY SUPER YAKUMO."
The 6-car set is made up of the Panorama Green car Kuro 380 at the front
The 4-car set reproduces the formation with Kumoha 381 at the front and Salo 381 after remodeling the 3-row seats.
The whistle on the roof is in the form it was in after it was removed, the pantograph has a snow-resistant cover, and the shoe reproduces the appearance of a single horn.
The intermediate connection section uses a body-mounted close-coupled coupler (without hooks).
All the fronts have dummy couplers.

The Kuro 380 reproduces the distinctive body shape, including the large window at the front, and the interior with four rows of seats.
The nickname display between the headlights is also lit up
