New lineup for Series 381 "Shinano"
The Kuro 381 0 series, a modified lead car with a single door on the front, is newly produced.
You can enjoy various formations from 4 to 9 cars.
After 1993, the bogies and underfloor equipment were turned gray, the JR markings on the sides were made smaller, and the front through-holes were permanently installed.
This is a production of the trains belonging to the Shinryou Electric Railway Depot.
Kuro 381-0 reproduces the side door close to the driver's cab, the single through door at the front, and the characteristic through front hood, which are unique to intermediate modified cars.
The basic set's Kuha 381-12 reproduces the early car with a single front window wiper.
The intermediate connection section uses a body-mounted close-coupled coupler without a hook.
The front end is equipped with a dummy coupler, and a coupler skirt for coupling is included.
The skylights in the washrooms are white only on the Kuha 381, while the others are transparent.
The color of the H-rubber is black for the side door windows of all cars, and the front nickname display and side direction signs are gray.
Slotless motor provides smooth and quiet running
Equipped with KATO's unique car body pendulum mechanism that reproduces the car body tilting inward when passing through curves, just like the real train
Headlights/taillights on/nickname display on (white LED used)
Each leading car is equipped with a light-off switch
Nickname display uses convertible train mark
Includes "Shinano (illustration)", "Spur Tsugaike-Happo", "Inaji" and "Temporary"
The bookcase in the basic set can store the vehicles in the add-on set.
A full 9-car train can be stored in one case.
