The battleship "North Carolina" was the first battleship built by the US military after the Naval Treaty, and was built 17 years after the "Colorado" class battleship.
Equipped with nine 16-inch guns in three configurations, as well as twenty 5-inch dual-purpose guns and radar, it was the most advanced battleship at the start of the Pacific War.
The battleship "North Carolina", which can still be seen today, has been made into a 1/700 scale plastic model kit.
